Klaviyo's partner program is called K:Partners. It's for two groups: agencies that provide strategy, implementation and managed services to brands using Klaviyo, and technology companies that list apps in Klaviyo's App Marketplace. It isn't a classic affiliate program. Klaviyo doesn't publish a commission rate on its partner page. The pitch is services revenue: Klaviyo says partners report at least $3 in services revenue for every $1 of Klaviyo MRR they manage.

So if you searched "Klaviyo affiliate program" hoping for a link and a percentage, you won't find one here. If you run an ecommerce email agency, this is probably the most important partnership you'll hold.

PartnersWatch isn't affiliated with Klaviyo. Details come from Klaviyo's partner page as listed in our directory, last checked October 2026. Confirm current terms with Klaviyo before you rely on them.

What K:Partners is

Program Partner types Terms Model
Klaviyo Agency, Integrator / MSP On request —

From the K:Partners listing:

  • Who it's for: agencies (strategy, implementation, managed services) and technology companies (apps in the App Marketplace).
  • What partners get: training and certifications, in-product visibility for agencies, co-marketing, and App Marketplace distribution to 193,000+ brands.
  • The revenue claim: at least $3 in services revenue per $1 of Klaviyo MRR, as reported by partners.
  • Commission: none published.
  • Where to apply: the partner agency form linked from the listing.

That $3-per-$1 figure tells you how Klaviyo thinks about partners. The money is in running email and SMS for brands, not in a referral check.

The agency track

Most people asking how to become a Klaviyo partner run, or want to run, an email and SMS agency for ecommerce brands, usually on Shopify.

What to have before you apply

  1. Live Klaviyo accounts you manage. A handful of brands where you built the flows (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, winback) and can show results.
  2. Certified team members. Klaviyo offers training and certifications. Get them done first. It's the cheapest credibility you'll ever buy.
  3. A clear offer. "Email marketing" is vague. "Klaviyo retention programs for DTC beauty brands doing six to seven figures a year" is an offer.
  4. Reporting you're proud of. Flow revenue, campaign revenue, list growth, deliverability. Brands judge you on these, and so will Klaviyo's partner team.

What "in-product visibility" means for you

Klaviyo lists in-product visibility for agencies as a benefit. Brands looking for help can find partners from inside the product. That's the real lead source in this program, and it rewards agencies with a good profile, certifications and a sharp niche.

How agencies actually make money

Retainers. A typical Klaviyo agency charges a monthly fee for strategy, design and sending, plus setup projects. Klaviyo's own number (at least $3 in services per $1 of MRR) is a decent sanity check on pricing. If a client pays Klaviyo $1,000 a month and you charge them $500, you're probably underpriced for the work.

Applying, step by step

  1. Open the partner agency form from the K:Partners listing.
  2. Describe your practice in plain terms: the brands you serve, the platforms they sell on, and the services you deliver (setup, flows, campaigns, SMS, managed retainers).
  3. Include proof. Results from live accounts, with client permission. Flow revenue share and list growth are the numbers that land.
  4. Keep certifying while you wait. Training and certifications are part of the program anyway. Arriving with them done speeds things up.
  5. Fix your public profile. In-product visibility only helps if a brand that finds you sees a clear niche, real case studies and a way to book a call.

Pricing a Klaviyo retainer

Price the work, not the tool. A sensible retainer covers strategy, a set number of campaigns a month, flow upkeep, testing and reporting. Setup is billed separately as a project. Klaviyo's own figure, at least $3 in services revenue per $1 of Klaviyo MRR, tells you the market expects agencies to charge meaningfully more than the software costs. Don't apologise for that. A good retention program pays for itself many times over, and brands that understand this are the clients you want.

The technology partner track

If you build software, K:Partners covers technology companies listing in Klaviyo's App Marketplace, with distribution to 193,000+ brands. For a Shopify app that touches customer data (reviews, loyalty, subscriptions, retargeting), a Klaviyo integration is close to required, because that's where merchants want the data to end up.

Tie, formerly Revenue Roll, is a good example of a company running its own agency program next to the Klaviyo ecosystem. It offers agencies revenue share that scales with referrals, plus billable campaign design work.

Want commission? Pair Klaviyo with these

Klaviyo doesn't pay a published referral rate, so agencies and creators usually earn commission from the tools around it:

Program Partner types Terms Model
Omnisend Affiliate 20% recurring for up to 24 months Recurring
Postscript Agency, Referral partner, Integrator / MSP Monthly commission for the first 12 months of each referral Recurring
Gorgias Affiliate, Agency, Integrator / MSP 20% of all referral payments for the first two years, higher at upper tiers Recurring
Tie (previously Revenue Roll) Agency, Integrator / MSP On request Revenue share
ActiveCampaign Agency, Reseller, Referral partner On request —
Mailchimp Agency, Referral partner On request —
  • Omnisend pays 20% recurring for up to 24 months with a 60-day cookie. It competes with Klaviyo and suits brands that don't need Klaviyo's depth.
  • Postscript (SMS) pays monthly commission for each referral's first 12 months and is open to agencies and ecommerce influencers.
  • Gorgias (helpdesk) pays 20% of referral payments for two years, more at higher tiers, and accepts agencies.
  • Mailchimp & Co is free for freelancers and agencies and pays commission for helping clients use Mailchimp.
  • ActiveCampaign lets agencies refer or resell, bill clients directly and white-label. Commission terms aren't published.

Klaviyo partner vs Shopify partner

Most Klaviyo agencies are Shopify partners too. They do different jobs for you:

  • Shopify partnership gets you building and launching stores. See how to become a Shopify partner.
  • Klaviyo partnership gets you the retention work after launch. That's monthly, recurring and where the margin is.

Agencies that hold both can sell the store build and then the retainer that runs for years afterwards.

Mistakes that keep agencies out of (or stuck in) K:Partners

  • Applying with no live accounts. Klaviyo wants agencies that deliver. Get a few brands live first, even at a discount.
  • Selling templates, not programs. Flows copied from a course don't keep clients. Segmentation and testing do.
  • Ignoring deliverability. One client's domain reputation collapsing will cost you more than any partner perk is worth.
  • Expecting a commission check. Plan on retainers. If you need affiliate income, use the tools above.
